Thanks Seamones - from the Club

Glooscap Curling Club has been enjoying their new Ice Shed floor, and on March 2nd, we thanked the Engineering and Design firm of Hiltz & Seamone, for managing the project so successfully and also for their very generous financial contribution to the club. In recognition for this donation, Barbara Leith, President of Glooscap, presented a plaque to Doug Seamone as a representative of Hiltz & Seamone Co.

Doug has been an active and contributing member of Glooscap throughout the years, and as an engineer, was a valuable resource in helping to guide us in the realization of this project. This generosity of spirit has extended to his daughters, Leslie and Alison, for they have been very instrumental in all of our major fundraising efforts. They have organized the very popular Tropicurl every year and this is widely recognized as one of Glooscap's best curling events. We celebrated a great curling family and a great legacy of volunteering.
