Team Marshall Wins NS Masters!

At the Middleton Curling Club, the team representing the Glooscap Curling Club skipped by Alan Marshall won the Nova Scotia Masters Championship. They beat a team skipped by Haylett Clarke (Bluenose Curling Club) in a game that was close throughout. The score was 5 - 4. They stole one point in the extra end as a result of an excellent raise take-out on Alan's first stone.  The Marshall team had scored two points with the hammer in the eighth end to send the game to an extra end.

The other members of Alan's team are mate Dick Clattenburg, second Peter Smith, and lead Bruce Tymchuk.

Congratulations, guys, and good luck as you head to Winnipeg to contend for the Canadian Masters Championship.
